Lakeside Big Give
On May 1st 2008, Teacher Bridgett Johnston and several of her students from the Lakeside School delivered May Baskets to sixty residents at the Highland Park Care Home. Before delivering the baskets with seeds, candy, and handmade tissue paper flowers, each of the students performed a poem or reading presentation. This project is Lakeside School’s effort for the Gordon- Rushville Give. The intent is to fund projects to involve staff and students in paying it forward to their community. The residents of Highland Park very much enjoyed the presentations and the May Baskets. Great Job teachers and students!
