Facility Improvement Planning Survey
Gordon-Rushville Public Schools is inviting all patrons to respond to a brief survey regarding potential facility updates. GRPS has conducted multiple community facility work sessions this year and is gathering information to propose a potential bond to voters this fall for updates to current facilities.
Please take a moment to review information available on the front page of the GRPS website at www.grmustangs.org about facility improvement planning. We would like all registered voters in each residence to take a brief survey regarding their thoughts on options for potential improvements. The survey will close on June 3, 2026.

January 21st Facility Meeting
Gordon-Rushville Public Schools has engaged in a long-term facility planning process over the past few years. The district is committed to engaging the community in ongoing discussions regarding the facility needs and potential solutions to those needs. With this in mind, the slides from the presentation that was given on January 21st, the information sheet, and the three options that were discussed by JEO at the meeting are available with the links provided here. We want to emphasize that the options discussed by JEO are draft proposals designed for discussion purposes at this time. There have been no official decisions made and there will be additional meetings concerning potential facility improvements this spring. Also, bear in mind that the slides and option sheets (Options 2, 3, and 4) provided were included as part of an in-person presentation where explanatory information was also presented allowing for a more complete picture of the situation. Option 1 (a single brand new K-12 Facility) was eliminated at the first public meeting in October due to cost prohibitions. Discussions about facility repairs as well as new construction have occurred during the public meetings in October and January and cost differences are reflected in the JE0 Options. Again, additional meetings will be held to continue the discussion regarding potential options. Please reach out with any questions regarding any of the information provided, and I would be happy to help.
Sincerely,
Nathan Livingston, Superintendent
