Parental Advisory Meetings are held at each building once a semester. After our public work session regarding facilities on Thursday, October 30, we are again hosting building level Parental Advisory Committee meetings in November and December. There will be opportunities for building/facility tours and Facility Needs input at these meetings for any interested patron. Please plan on attending. Thanks.

Please join us on November 11, at 1:30 PM at GRHS in the gymnasium for our annual Veterans Day Program. There will be performances from the GRHS Band and Choir, the GES 5th grade, GRHS student speakers, and the guest speaker will be 2001 RHS Graduate Galen Peterson. We hope to see you there.

GRPS has 72 4x6 foot rubber mats that were declared surplus and are for sale. They were previously used in the high school weight room. The mats are 3/4 inch or 1/2 inch thick. Mats that are whole are for sale for $25 each and mats that have had small sections cut from them (to fit areas in the weight room) are $15 each. Please contact the high school office if you would like to purchase any. They will be available until all sold.

This year GRPS is planning on offering a Sunday Open Gym in both Gordon and Rushville on Sundays when the gym is available and their are GRPS certified staff available to supervise. The Open Gym is available for any GRPS student and family members of GRPS students.

This week we are offering the Open Gym again. There will be an Open Gym in both Gordon at the high school and in Rushville at the middle school from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM this Sunday, October 12, 2025. Students and family members who attend will be required to sign in and follow all school rules while participating in Open Gym. A list of Open Gym Rules and Expectations is attached. Any person under the age of 12 will be required to have a parent/guardian or older sibling present at Open Gym.

An announcement will be posted on school social media each week prior to any Sunday when Open Gym is available.

Again this week the Open Gym will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
